If Plextor hadn't gone out of its way to suffocate the life out of this independent non-profit venture, people would have been free to use the hardware at full functionality on most operating systems by now. But no, it insists on forcing everybody into using its proprietary software. PlexTools is looking rather good right now, but that doesn’t mean Plextor shouldn’t be berated for what it does.
