The fence post base is made of thickened iron and welded tightly. No worries about falling apart and deforming. They are well worth it as they make it easy to fasten a 3.8 x 3.8 inch post to concrete and they do it in a very secure manner. This wood post anchor can do the job that you want it to do and come with all the necessary hardware that is needed for the project. Ideal for deck supports, porch railings, handrails and post holders. It can also be used as a table leg or mailbox post holder brackets.

Made from 14 gauge steel,black powder-coat for rust-resistant and sturdy enough
It allows easy installation on 6x6 wood posts on existing concrete.on existing concrete with 1/2-Inch diameter anchors, wood post are NOT included
The comprehensive accessories contain a wrench, 12 sets of 3/8 expansion bolts, and 24 sets of self-tapping screws. It can be used to fix the bracket on a wooden or concrete floor firmly.
It can be used for decking handrails, pergolas, signs, mailboxes, & garden fences,deck brackets.It would help your fences look sturdy and durable while avoiding breakages.
Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent rotation about the base and therefore are not recommended for non-top-supported installations such as fences or unbraced carports
