Please select appropriate cable Pump should not run dry run, Please ensure to run the open well submersible pump with adequate water above it . INSTALLATION: Rigid foundation as such is essential for installation under water. It can be installed either by hanging with a suitable rope to the eyehooks or keeping at the bottom of the well where the muddy area is less. While lowering the pump, it is essential that the pump is lowered without damaging the cable or outside parts of the pump. Ensure that cable or any part of the pump does not come in contact with the walls, pump or pipeline. Do not use cable as a rope for lowering the pump, Cable shall be tied with a delivery pipe using a suitable thread/ wire at every 1.5 mt. distance. After lowering the pump check continuity between phase, also check insulation resistance between winding and between cable and earthing. It is advised to run the submersible pump every day for a few minutes. This helps in removing the particles deposited on the rotation parts. If the open well submersible pump is not used for a few months, there are chances of getting it jam.
