IIL is primarily involved in the manufacture of rolled products mainly TMT Bars, Rounds and Wire Rods. IIL has set up the following manufacturing facilities:
a) Rolling mill with installed capacity of 1,70,000 MTPA at Raturia Industrial Area, Angadpur, Durgapur, West Bengal.
b) Wind Mill of 1.50 MW capacity at Dhule, Maharashtra (COD: 8th February, 2007). The Company has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement with MSEB (Maharashtra State Electricity Board) for a period of 13 years.
The Company enjoys backward linkage with other Group company situated nearby at Durgapur, which were engaged in manufacturing of sponge iron and billets.
