- After years of sustainability research, Temflex 165 is 3M's first solvent-free electrical tape offering. This means that it is manufactured without the use of solvents during the manufacturing process, which reduces the overall environmental impact of the tape.
- This robust tape is flame retardant and is resistant to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, solvents, acids and corrosion of electrical conductors. Designed for 600V, it is an excellent choice for primary insulation, complex packaging and abrasion/puncture resistance applications.
- 3M Temflex Vinyl Insulation Tape 165 is a heavy-duty multi-purpose vinyl insulation tape that works well for a wide variety of environments, temperatures and applications. It is constructed from a durable PVC and aggressive adhesive to ensure tight packages that provide longevity through resistance to unpacking.
- The 5 year shelf life is also environmentally friendly, ensuring no tape is wasted if not used for a long time and the sustainable construction will reduce waste by reducing the number of reapplications required. Sold in packs of 10 rolls.
