FULLY AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONS: This system will trigger ON switch of START button of Starter for 3 seconds, through 220-volt contactor, to start single phase up to 2 HP pump motor when water level in overhead tank goes below the pre-set point and switches off the motor through starters STOP Button NO (Normally Open) when overhead tank fully fills up. OPTION FOR INSTANT MOTOR START: The system also has the option for starting pump motor manually by one soft press button before water level in overhead tank reaches the prefixed level for automatic switch on, but it will switch off the said motor automatically when overhead water tank fully fills up. This function will not activate pump motor if there is a sufficient quantity of water in overhead tank. Quantity of water for using this option may vary according to the setting of sensor for switch ON & OFF levels in overhead tank. MAINTENANCE-FREE SENSOR-SWITCH: The system has maintenance-free sensor-switch, concealed in a hard plastic box, which senses water levels in tank without passing any electric current into the water, thus, doing away with the hassles of maintenance due to absence of chemical reactions that may cause oxidation to the sensor-switch. EASY TO INSTALL: The system is very easy to install as it has only one sensor-switch in tank. System controls the starter with 2-3 second automatic re-settable timer, which triggers, through a contactor, a pair of starters SWITCH-ON button for 2-3 seconds only. This way system disconnects the start-capacitor (in starter panel) connected with the motor in 2-3 seconds after motor takes its full running speed. Controller is so designed that it will not interfere in the features of safety protections of starter against overload, dry run, low/high voltage & off timer etc. COMPATIBILITY: system is compatible with both types of Starters having STOP button as NO (Normally Open) & NC (Normally Close). This system can also be used for single phase up to 2 HP monoblock motors.
