The company functioned then in the name of INDUSTRIAL AND RESEARCH INSTRUMENT COMPANY, popularly known as 'IRIC'. It was converted into a Private Limited Company, as I.R. TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PVT. LTD., in the year 1977. This Company has pioneered in introducing the 'state-of-the-art' instrument technology in India. Since its inception in 1961, it has been in the field of marketing sophisticated analytical and medical instruments into the Indian.
