Block No.527-528, Opp Mc.Donald's NH-8,Palsana Enviro Protection Limited (PEPL) located at Block No 527-528, Opp- Mcdonalds, Near Kadodara Char Rasta, Mumbai-Ahmedabad NH No 8, Vill: Umbhel, Tal.: Kamrej, Dist Surat: 394325, Gujarat, is a company promoted by cluster of textile processing industries (member industries) for setting up of Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) for conveyance, treatment and disposal of waste water generated from the Member industries. These industries are located in area of approximately 100 Sq Km Area. PEPL started its operational actvities from 2008 with treatment capacity of 50 MLD and as of today its capacity is 150 MLD with recycling facility of 50 MLD. PEPL started recycling its treated water to its member units to use it in their process activities.
PEPL is the first private entity who initiated to recycle the treated waste water in such a huge quantity to member units for reuse in non-portable activity. In connection of Waste to Wealth (W2W) concept PEPL installed India’s first Solar Sludge Drying System to remove the moisture content from sludge generated in CETP and reuse the dried sludge as a fuel in Boiler and cement Industries, in fertilizer, bricks making, In Green Highway development etc.
Apart from this PEPL also established complete Fire & Emergency Service Station operating 24/7 to tackle any emergency in entire South Gujarat zone as a CSR activity.
