Apply a lubricant liberally such as a honing tool lubricant, 10-30 weight motor oil, or transmission fluid prior to using honing tool brush. Max RPM is 1200, however optimum range is 600 - 800 RPM. Tip: If producing cross-hatching pattern, less is best - maximum of two passes should be done with brush within 20-45 seconds of total run time, averaging between 10-55 strokes.
• The 4.5 inch TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool is self-centering, self-aligning and will conform to the bore diameter to provide consistent surface finishing, as well as deburring any cross-drilled holes.
