• MELTING POINT : PEEK has a glass transition temperature of around 143 C (289 F) and melts around 343 C (662 F). Some grades have a useful operating temperature of up to 250 C (482 F).
• SLIDING PROPERTIES : With low coefficient of friction, PEEK offers excellent sliding properties and is ideal for various contact applications
• RADIATION RESISTANCE : Unlike many polymers, PEEK's radiation resistance is quite high and it can absorb over 1000 units of radiation without any noticeable loss of its mechanical properties.
• PRESSURE RESISTANCE : The processing conditions used to mold PEEK can influence the crystallinity, and hence the mechanical properties. The Young's modulus is 3.6 GPa and its tensile strength 90 to 100 MPa.
• FATIGUE RESISTANCE : With higher hardness and greater impact strength, PEEK ROD offers excellent fatigue resistance and long lasting performance even under heavy load.

• STRONGER THEN GLASS : Acrylic has a higher impact resistance than glass. It is also 10 times more shatter resistant than glass.
• WATERPROOF : Acrylic has many uses like waterproofing of toilets, sunken portions, roofs, swimming pools, water tanks, asbestos roofs, terraces, china chips terraces, etc. It can also be used for crack repair, and rehabilitation projects.
• LIGHT TRANSMISSION : Acrylic sheet typically absorbs less than 0.5% of visible light per inch of thickness. However, some light is reflected at both surfaces.
• UV RESISTANT : Acrylic is inherently UV resistant with as little as 3% degradation outdoors over a 10-year period.
• CHEMICAL RESISTANCE : Acrylic is resistant to most detergents, inorganic chemicals, aliphatic hydrocarbons, fats and oils, diluted acids and concentrated alkalis at room temperature.
