• SPIRIT SANDING: This Dynorbital-Spirit random orbital sander has a diameter of 6\" (152 mm) with a proportionate 3/16\" (5 mm) diameter orbit for a general swirl-free finish. It includes a low profile, premium urethane weight-mated sanding pad that offers smooth performance and minimal vibration. This non-vacuum tool can be easily converted to self-generated or central vacuum tools with available optional vacuum conversion kits.
• KEY FEATURES: This Dynabrade sander features a throttle lever that recesses into the housing grip to eliminate any pressure on the operator's palm, thumb-control regulation of tool speed, composite material that insulates against cold air, precision one-piece motor shaft and counterbalance, a muffling system that reduces exhaust sound levels, and a high-quality double row pad bearing protected by the unique V-seal to improve bearing life and ensure reduced vibration.
• PNEUMATIC POWER: The smooth, efficient air-powered motor runs with more power at 0.25 hp and up to 12,000 RPM. The floating rotor utilizes five blades to produce more useable power. It's high-strength composite design is stronger and has better lubricating qualities that enable the blades to last longer. The motor uses less air (14 SCFM/396 LPM) more efficiently in order to maintain maximum power.
• COMFORT PLATFORM: The Comfort Platform (59330) provides additional hand and wrist support, further enhancing operator comfort, while also offering increased protection against cold air exhaust. The Comfort Platform (Patent No. D610,428) is removable and can easily be installed on existing tools.
