Job Summary : Performing routine inspections and resolving, preventive
maintenance.
• Assisted in monitoring and maintaining the operation of Coal
handling plant equipment to ensure optimal performance
● Operate, inspect and Ensure all PTWs are issued and LOTO
(Lock-out-Tag-out) systems follow properly.
● Responsible for Preventive and corrective maintenance of coal
handling equipment as conveyor Belt, Idlers, Pulleys, Bearing,
Gear box, Travelling Trippers, crushers, feeders, breakers, screens,
stackers, and loaders, ash and slag handling equipment, dust
control equipment and bag houses.
● Monitor equipment in a predictive and protective manner to
reduce breakdown time.
● Updating Defect on any equipment and communicating it to the
respective department through SAP and Issuing PTW whenever
necessary, after respective isolation of the equipment
● My job description also includes taking complete ownership of
yard management which includes handing of 80000MT and 90000
MT per yard in a day.
● My job also involves Utilizing computer-based management
P L C systems as made available for operational and
management requirements which includes preparing reports like
coal stock upgradation, cumulative feeding data reports and
shift data logging in log books.
● Ensure 100% safety with proper handling of types of
equipment and manpower. Carry out frequent checks on the
healthiness of equipment & housekeeping.
● Identify modification plans for system improvement and cost
benefits
