High Temperature Resistance: 392?/200 Silicone rubber as a thermoset material, it will not melt in high temperature. However, PVC or PE insulator will start melt over 176?/80?, it will cause Electrical shorts problem easily!
Low Temperature Resistance: -76?/-60 12 gauge automotive wire with silicone jacket can keep flexibility in extremely low temperature. Unlike PVC or other insulation materials will become very stiff and fragile around -4?/-20?.
