PG Technoplast has achieved a major milestone by launching its new flagship air conditioner manufacturing plant in North India at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. This strategic investment aims to meet the growing need for energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable cooling solutions in India, while strengthening the company's presence in the rapidly expanding air conditioning market. The new facility, spread over an area of 200,000 square feet, manufactures a full range of split air conditioners ranging from 0.75 ton to 2.0 ton with annual installed capacities of 360,000 indoor AC units, 360,000 outdoor AC units, and 250,000 outdoor air-conditioned units. Window air conditioner. Its production capabilities include the manufacture of air conditioning units, cover plate components, powder coating plants, heat exchangers and copper piping systems. This unit will create additional employment opportunities for more than 1,000 people.
The facility was designed with sustainability in mind. It houses a state-of-the-art learning center to educate apprentices and trainees to nurture the next generation of industrial talent and provide continuous on-the-job training to the company’s stakeholders. It also features water conservation and integrated facilities management systems to reduce the production of plastic, corrugated cardboard and paper waste.
Another major milestone was achieved this month, as PG Technoplast became the first beneficiary to receive incentives under air conditioning. The components target the government production-linked incentive scheme sector, after recognizing its increasing performance in investments and sales during the fiscal years 2021-2022 and 2022-23. PG has now firmly established itself as the second largest ODM for room air conditioners in the country, having entered the category just 3 years ago in 2021.
