Numaligarh Refinery ties up with TII to uphold integrity

Kolkata : Against the backdrop of a corruption ridden national scenario, where even reports of alleged involvement of corporate sector in scams too have surfaced in recent days, Assam based Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a subsidiary of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), on MOnday set an example for others as it voluntarily entered into an agreement with Transparency International India (TII) to implement ‘Integrity Pact’ with its business partners.

"When everyone is talking corruption, we decided to voluntrily enter into this agreement for upholding integrity in our practices. We want to be trend setters for others, as we have been in many other aspects," said a senior company official.
