Ambuja Cements May output at 17.36 lakh tonne

Mumbai : Cement manufacturer Ambuja Cements today said that its production in May stood at 17.36 lakh tonne, as against 19.04 lakh tonne in the year-ago period. The company's despatches in May stood at 17.64 lakh tonne, as against 18.88 lakh tonne in the year-ago period, a press release issued here stated.

For the January-May period this year, its production stood at 91.38 lakh tonne as against 91.48 lakh tonne in the year ago, while its despatches for the same period stood at 93.32 lakh tonne as against 91.70 lakh tonne in the corresponding period of the last year, the release said.
