HPCL launches Rs. 45,000cr petrochemical complex

Hyderabad : In an attempt to push its petroleum products refining capacity, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is all set to initiate construction work on the ambitious 15 million tons per annum refining capacity cum petrochemical complex being set up in Andhra Pradesh at an investment of Rs. 45,000cr.

He added that the company has already acquired 1,500 acres of land and is currently in the process of acquiring 1,000 acres more for meeting the future expansion requirements of the upcoming complex housing cracker and aromatics manufacturing facilities together with a captive power plant with a generation capacity of 350mw.
