Most cement stocks were trading in the red in Monday's afternoon session.
Shares of Shiva Cement (down 11.56 per cent), GPT Infraprojects (down 8.83 per cent), Visaka IndustriesNSE -1.01 % (down 5.05 per cent), A Infrastructure (down 4.91 per cent), Orient Cement Ltd (down 4.85 per cent), Rain Industries Ltd (down 4.79 per cent), K C P (down 4.66 per cent), Sahyadri Industries (down 3.64 per cent), IFGL Refractories (down 3.56 per cent), Ambuja Cements (down 3.42 per cent), NCL Industries (down 3.28 per cent), India Cements (down 2.91 per cent), HIL (down 2.77 per cent.
ACC (down 1.96 per cent), Century Textiles & Industries (down 1.96 per cent), Kakatiya Cements Sugar & Industries (down 1.87 per cent), Shree Cement (down 1.73 per cent), Burnpur Cement (down 1.71 per cent), Sanghi Industries (down 1.69 per cent), Morganite Crucible (India) (down 1.67 per cent), Saurashtra Cement (down 1.36 per cent), Mangalam Cement (down 1.09 per cent) and Star Cement (down 0.94 per cent) too were trading with losses.
Meanwhile, APCL (up 6.75 per cent), Indian Hume Pipe Company (up 1.13 per cent), JK Lakshmi Cement (up 1.10 per cent), Orient Refractories (up 0.79 per cent) and Udaipur Cement Works (up 0.35 per cent) were trading higher.
ICICI Bank (up 3.22 per cent), HCL Technologies (up 0.79 per cent), Infosys (up 0.39 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.25 per cent), Tech Mahindra (up 0.19 per cent) were trading higher.
On the other hand, Indiabulls Housing Finance (down 8.03 per cent), Grasim Industries (down 6.25 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 4.76 per cent) and Bajaj Auto (down 4.68 per cent) were trading in the red.
