The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) sealed ten properties, including both residential and commercial, which have huge property taxes.
PMC has sent reminders to 9,000 owners of residential and commercial properties requesting them to pay the property tax due immediately upon receipt of the reminders.
Pune has a total of 10.5 lakh properties including residential, commercial, etc. The taxes generated from these properties are the main source of income for the business. While property tax payments continue throughout the year, property tax delinquency continues to change. The civil authority has selected 9,000 property owners with a property tax of Rs 200 crore.
