Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan handed over 12,067 homes built under the LDF government's Life Mission program to beneficiaries across the state.
Vijayan told the media that the LDF government has kept its word to the people and has promised to build five lakh houses in the next five years.
According to Vijayan, the state government has built 12,067 houses as part of its 100-day program.
He added that 10,058 of these houses were built as part of the Life Mission and other local self-government bodies in the state, while 2,009 were built as part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) urban project.
