The Mumbai-based Edelweiss Group has invested Rs 355 crore in Hubtown's two under-construction residential projects in Mumbai through its ECL Finance Limited and two funds - Edelweiss India Real Estate Fund and EREF Onshore Fund - managed by the group.
ECL Finance invested Rs 205 crore in the developer's Hubtown Seasons project in the Mumbai suburb of Edelweiss Chembur and invested Rs 150 crore in Hubtown Harmony, a premium development in Matunga in central Mumbai.
Both projects are under construction, all approvals are in and Edelweiss' investment will be used to help accelerate completion of both projects, Hubtown told media.
Hubtown Seasons is a public-private partnership (PPP) project with the Government of Maharashtra and is spread over a 10-hectare plot.
