Thousands of buyers have been waiting for their flats in various Sports City projects, and the government of Uttar Pradesh and the Noida Authority have not yet found a solution to their problems.
A board meeting on Friday also failed to come to a plan. In several housing projects planned as part of the sports cities, a total of 32,000 apartments had been approved. Only 10,000 apartments have been completed so far, the rest in various construction phases. More than Rs 4,000 crore is still owed to the Authority by the builders who were given land.
The projects were spread across the city, in sectors 78, 79, 101, 150 and 152.
