JLG has launched the JLG 670SJ self-leveling boom lift, which can automatically level itself on slopes of up to 10 degrees in any direction while on the move.
Underneath the machine, four independent axles, each managed by smart hydraulic cylinders, ensure that each wheel individually follows the contours of the terrain and remains in constant contact with the ground. It allows the machine to continuously level itself without operator intervention and navigate uneven terrain while traveling at height from one job to another without lowering the boom.
It also reduces or eliminates the prep work — leveling or cribing — required to level the work area so the elevators can start first thing in the morning.
