Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Marriott International for the development of charging units and infrastructure for electric vehicles (EV).
Aiming to strengthen electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country, CESL has signed an MoU with Marriott International to build and operate electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the hotels managed, licensed and franchised by Marriott International in India.
CESL in conjunction with Marriott International will be tasked with planning and executing the project with the cost and performance of all tasks required for the procurement, installation and operation and maintenance (O&M) of the EV charging units.
In a few months, CESL will set up electric car charging stations in 37 Marriott International hotels and another 100 in a year.
