Ferrari NV has unveiled a new limited-edition retro model billed by the legendary Italian manufacturer as the most aerodynamically efficient car ever.
The Daytona SP3, which debuted at the Mugello Circuit on Saturday, pays tribute to the brand's 1960s race cars. It represents the second leg of Ferrari's special edition Icona series, the first being the Monza SP1 and SP2 cars.
Like those Monza models, the Daytona SP3 will likely carry a seven-figure price tag. The mid-rear-mounted V12 with 829 hp is Ferrari's most powerful engine and delivers a time from zero to 100 kilometers per hour of 2.85 seconds.
