Maharashtra's urban planning authority, CIDCO, has received a general NOC from the Airport Authority of India (AAI) regarding the permitted heights for the buildings in the 2015 rehabilitation area, which it said would undermine the development of Navi Mumbai International Airport ( NMIA) will accelerate ) rehabilitation and resettlement area.
City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) told media that the validity of the stated NOC had expired in 2020. Therefore, the applicants requesting the development approvals and certificates of use had to approach the AAI individually to obtain the No Objection certificates.
The NOC blanket has been given for five of the six pockets named Sector-1 (Vadghar), Sector 24 (Vahal 1), Sector 25 (Vahal 2), Sector 25A (Vahal 3) and Pushpak Nagar until January to March 2024.
