The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is requesting Rs 219.56 crore from MahaMetro for the land value on which the metro pillars were built of Aqua and Orange corridors of the metro line.
NMC's estate department has calculated the land value according to the actuarial interest rate. According to an investigation, MahaMetro built the pillars on 32,512.5 square meters of land.
According to a senior official, NMC divided the country into four corridors: east, west, north and south. The piers are built on 18,125 m² of land in the eastern corridor, 10,687.5 m² in the western corridor, 562.5 m².
