On Tuesday, the company said Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) produced 5.904 million tons (mt) of steel during the April-December period of FY 2021-22.
Output was 9% higher at 5,904 mt compared to production in the corresponding maturity of the previous fiscal year.
JSPL released its sales figures for the October-December quarter, telling the media that it had sold 1.82 mt of steel during the said deadline.
In the third quarter of FY'22, steel sales were limited due to limited availability of rakes and unusual rainfall in certain states. In December 2021, the company's turnover reached 6.85 lakh tons.
JSPL director VR Sharma told media they were able to achieve a 9% increase in production in the first nine months of FY22.
