Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL) has invited bids from empanel suppliers to design, supply, assemble, test and commission 300 MW of grid connected rooftop solar projects for residential consumers in rural areas of the state in phase ll of the grid connected rooftop solar program and the Surya Gujarat program of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
The solar energy project will be developed according to an investment model (capex).
For the next five years, the winning bidder will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the solar panels on the roof (O&M).
The project must be completed within 12 months of issuance of the sanction letter.
