On Monday, cement major Shree Cement told media that it was starting commercial production at the company's clinker plant (Kiln-3) at Baloda Bazar, near Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
The plant has a production capacity of 12,000 tons per day (4.0 million tons per year).
Earlier, on March 16, the company announced that it has started a trial run with its new clinker installation. The clinker installation will enhance the company's clinker supply to the various grinding installations in the East region.
Shree Cement is one of the top three cement producers in India. Its product portfolio includes Shree Jung Rodhak Cement, Bangur Cement, Roofon and Rockstrong Cement.
