Ma Subramanian, the health minister of Tamil Nadu, will urge the central government to speed up construction of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) buildings in Madurai.
On Thursday, Health Minister Ma Subramanian announced that classes for the first batch of 50 MBBS students admitted to All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Madurai will begin at Government Medical College and Hospital in Ramanathapuram. The lessons will be given in hybrid form.
Subramanian is set to meet with Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in Delhi on Friday to urge him to speed up construction on the college's buildings.
