On Wednesday, Karnataka state cabinet gave administrative approval for the detailed project report (DPR) of the domestic airport Raichur greenfield at Rs 185.57 crore. Rights India Ltd was responsible for preparing the DPR.
According to the media, the cabinet has decided to commute the sentences of 114 life sentences in several state prisons. They were given a reduced sentence based on their good behavior.
The cabinet also approved a budget of Rs 51.20 crore for the establishment of the Center of Excellence in Smart Agriculture on the University of Agriculture Sciences-Dharwad campus.
It also approved the revised estimate of Rs 99.93
