CCL notes highest coal production in FY 2021-22

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL) in Jharkhand, has destroyed all previous records in coal production and shipment. During the 2021-2022 fiscal years, the company produced 68.85 million tons of coal and transported 71.86 million tons of coal. These numbers have been the largest since the company's inception.

Compared to the previous fiscal year, the company's production of raw coal increased by 10%. In addition, the average rake load increased by 4%.
