ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) India Limited has reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $470 million for the March 2022 quarter, growing 16.62% from the same period last year.
AMNS India's crude steel production in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022 or January-March period decreased to 1.7 million tonnes (mt), compared to 1.8 million tonnes in the October-December period in 2021.
On an annualized basis (on an annual basis), the output of 1.7 million tons was lower compared to the 1.8 million tons in the first quarter of 2021.
Shipments amounted to 1.73 million tons in the reporting quarter, compared to 1.70 million tons in the previous quarter.
