To reduce emissions from the steel sector, a high-level meeting was held in Shimla.

The chairman urged the steel industry to work together on a time-bound action plan to reduce emissions. He urged all parties involved to work together to reduce emissions from the steel industry.
India has pledged to reduce COP26 emissions. The chairman also emphasizes the importance of promoting Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The theme of the meeting, Transition to Green Steel, was discussed extensively and the recommendations of many attendees were taken into account.
