Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has invited bids for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of National Thermal Power Corporation's (NTPC) 20 MW grid-connected solar project in Gandhar, Gujarat, for three years at Rs 38, 66 million.
The deadline for the submission of the bids is May 30, 2022 and will open on the same day.
Bidders must submit Rs 773,000 as a serious down payment. The successful bidder must pay 5% of the project costs as a deposit.
The project work includes O&M of the solar project to 220 kV side of 33/220 kV grid tie transformer and 220 kV bay. The winning bidder must ensure that the project has optimal energy generation. The bidder must also perform breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance overhauls and visit O&M experts as necessary.
Daily work includes logging the project voltage, current, power factor, power and energy output and individual array output data. The winning bidder must track the monthly energy output of each array and transformer and prepare reports according to its performance.
Interested bidders must have completed three similar projects of not less than Rs 15.46 million each or two similar projects each of not less than Rs 19.33 million, or one similar project of not less than Rs 30.93 million each.
To participate in the bid, bidders must have an average annual financial turnover of at least 30% of project costs in the last three fiscal years (FYs). Bidders must enclose a CA's audited balance sheet and income statement or sales certificate for the last three FYs.
If the O&M work does not start within two weeks, the seller will be fined 0.5% per week of delay.
BHEL has also requested bids to design, supply, install and commission balance systems for a 5 MW grid-connected solar project in Madhya Pradesh.
BHEL has made an offer for O&M of NTPC's 22 MW floating solar project in Kayamkulam, Kerala, for a period of three years.
