It was signed in the presence of Maharashtra Tourism and Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray in Davos, who attended the World Economic Forum (WEF), together with State Minister of Industry Subhash Desai and finally, State Minister of Energy Nitin Raut.
Vijay Singhal, general manager of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), which signed the MoU, told media it was one of the largest investments for Maharashtra in the renewable energy sector.
