A Delhi-based renewable energy consultancy, GreenZo Energy, told media that it plans to develop a 250 megawatt (MW) green hydrogen electrolyser plant by the end of 2025 with an investment of Rs 300 crore to Rs 400 crore.
According to the official press release, this would ensure the availability of end-to-end solutions in the country and reduce import dependency for this important equipment.
The company has also invested more than Rs 7 crore in the research and development (R&D) department for the production of 250MW proton exchange membrane technology of the green hydrogen electrolyser in 2022-23.
GreenZo Energy founder and chairman Sandeep Agarwal told media that green hydrogen has emerged as an important fuel that will play a vital role in achieving a sustainable energy future, and the time to build it is now.
