On Thursday Ashok Leyland, a Hinduja Group flagship company said it has launched its first ever eight-wheel truck, named AVTR 2620. This makes the company a sole player to have a complete range of trucks based on the lift axle technology.
The company claimed in a statement that the new product will offer excellent operational flexibility to its customers to pick the option based on their load, and total operations cost benefits.
It added that with the launch of AVTR 2620, Ashok Leyland rises to be the first and only player in India having a full range of trucks based on the lift axle technology, from GVW - Gross Vehicle Weight of 25.5
