JSW Steel gets CISF cover for its Dolvi Works plant

JSW Steel became the 13th industrial house in India and the first within the JSW Group to receive CISF security coverage. CISF deployed its troops to JSW Steel's Dolvi Works plant in Maharashtra.

JSW Dolvi Works has a steel production capacity of 10 million tons with related facilities and a cement factory. The factories are supported by the port of Dharamtar, run by JSW Infrastructure.

JSW Group took possession of the steel plant in 2010 and made further significant investments to set up the cement and port activities.

JSW Steel Chief Operations Officer Gajraj Singh Rathore said that given the importance of the industrial facility and investment, it was necessary to have better protection against various security risks.
