Two construction orders awarded to Jyoti Structures

Mumbai : The engineering products manufacturing company Jyoti Structures has bagged two construction contracts worth Rs 225 crore from South Africa power company. Under the contract, the company would execute 765 kV and 400 kV transmission lines.

Jyoti Structure is claiming to offer good quality high voltage power transmission lines and substations to its clients. Earlier, it has successfully completed a 765 kV transmission line project for South Africa power company. African subsidiary of Jyoti Structures- Jyoti Structures Africa would again handle both the construction orders.

In 2010, the board of the company gave its approval for the setting up of a lattice steel towers manufacturing unit in the USA. Furthermore, the board has made a consensus for investing 12 million for the creation of a base unit there. The net profit of the company has increased by 38.4 per cent to Rs 35 crore during the fourth quarter of the financial year 2010-11, as compared to the net profit of the corresponding period of 2009-10.
