SJVN, Solarworld ink pact to build two solar projects

SJVN entered into a pact with Solarworld Energy Solutions to construct two solar power projects in Uttar Pradesh for Rs 690.75 crore, which will have a total generation capacity of 125 MW.

SJVN has entered into an EPC contract for two projects, namely a 75 MW Solar Project in Gurah district Jalaun and a 50 MW Solar Project in Gujrai district Kanpur Dehat with Solarworld Energy Solutions.

Nand Lal Sharma, chairman and general manager of SJVN, said in the statement that these Rs 690.75 crore EPC contracts include the end-to-end supply of the commissioned solar installation to SJVN, including comprehensive operation and maintenance. of these solar PV installations for two years.

The contract value for a 75 MW solar project is Rs 410.75 crore while for a 50 MW solar project it is Rs 280 crore. Both projects are expected to be commissioned in April 2023.
