As a result of rising revenues, Jindal Stainless (JSL) reported an increase in its consolidated net profit of about 8 percent to Rs 3.29 billion in the April-June quarter.
According to the record of JSL, the company made a net profit of Rs 3.05 billion over the same period in 2021-2022.
The total turnover rose to Rs 54.90 billion, an increase of nearly 36 percent from Rs 40.42 billion in the same time last year.
In the quarter, costs rose to Rs 50.89 billion, from Rs 36.10 billion in the April-June period of the previous year.
The country's largest stainless steel producer, Jindal Stainless, with an annual melting capacity of 1.9 million tons (MT). It has two stainless steel production facilities in Haryana and Odisha.
