Recently, Diamond Mowers designed two new mulching heads for medium excavators and tractors. The DC Pro X Excavator Drum Mulcher and Boom Drum Mulcher are the latest additions to Diamond Mowers' portfolio of mulching attachments.
The units come standard with double chisel planer teeth, but are compatible with any of Diamond's three tooth options to suit different applications and can be easily swapped out while maintaining drum balance.
In conjunction with the introduction of its latest attachments, Diamond Mowers now offers an extended two-year warranty on all its drum products. In addition, customers have access to Diamond customer service and a 72-hour parts shipping warranty on the most common components.
“With a larger hydraulic motor, better engine protection and optimized cutting width for weight, this new attachment offers a significant advantage in the market,” said Dan Stachel, executive vice president of Diamond Mowers.
It is equipped with a Rexroth 63cc hydraulic motor with adjustable displacement that provides enough torque to drive through material up to 8 inches in diameter. The company says the engine is protected by a rugged chassis designed to withstand creaking loads of up to 10 metric tons.
