JSW Steel’s crude output rises by 14%

JSW Steel reportedly posted a 14 percent year-on-year growth in its crude steel production to 1.57 million tons by July 2022. According to reports, the company had produced 1.37 million tons of crude steel by July 2021. Production of flat-rolled products increased by 15% in July 2022 to 1.07 million tons, from 930,000 tons last year. Production of long-rolled products also reportedly registered a 19% increase to 360,000 tons, from 306,000 tons a year ago. JSW Steel is the flagship company of the JSW Group, worth $22 billion. The group is present in various sectors such as energy, infrastructure, cement, paint, sports and venture capital.
