Informa Markets in India has announced the return of the World of Concrete (WoC) India, the leading concrete, construction and infrastructure show, along with its new industry offerings. The announcement was made at a press conference themed 'Connecting India by Concrete: A Journey into Net Zero' in Mumbai. The 8th edition of the expo will take place from October 13-15, 2022 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai.
The World of Concrete India exhibition and conference draws its legacy from World of Concrete Las Vegas, the largest and oldest concrete show in the world. The Mumbai expo, in partnership with Builders Association of India, Waterproofing Association of India, Gujarat Contractors Association, seeks to connect suppliers and buyers and will provide a comprehensive marketplace of materials, equipment, technologies, latest products and tools for the commercial construction, concrete and masonry industries. The event is estimated to attract more than 150 exhibitors and more than 7,000 trade visitors over the three days.
World of Concrete India 2022 focuses on Concrete and Building Materials, Dry Mortar and Aggregates, Precast Technologies and Formwork, Waterproofing Solutions and Construction Chemicals, Commercial and Industrial Flooring, Construction Machinery, AI and IT Solutions, Construction Safety Equipment and Scaffolding, 3D Printing solutions and BIMs.
Major highlights of the expo include the Waterproofing Association of India's first-ever waterproofing pavilion, Drycotec Pavilion and Conference, technical seminar by the Builders Association of India, and participation from key associations such as the Construction Equipment Rental Association and the Indian Branch of the American Concrete Institute.
