Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is in talks with leading builders in the cities of Bengaluru and Chennai to take its 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) technology to the next level.
“Our primary business targets are affordable housing (G+3 floors), villas, single-storey military barracks and schools, post offices and factories,” said MV Satish, Whole-time Director & Senior Executive Vice President (buildings).
“We successfully demonstrated our technology in Kancheepuram. A model house is currently being 3D printed on our campus in Chennai. Very soon we will 3D print 6500 square meters of office space in Chennai,” he said.
