RECPDCL transfers SPV for development of Transmission Project

A wholly owned subsidiary of REC, REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL), has given Power Grid Corporation of India the SPV for the development of the transmission project ER NER Transmission Limited.

The project includes the upgrading of Namsai S/s and related works, including the installation of approximately 77 km of 220 kV dual circuit transmission lines, as well as the construction of two 500 MVA ICT(AIS) units at Banka S/s. A target of 36 months has been set for the realization of the project.
