Raimondi Cranes presented three new products at Bauma 2022 and welcomed thousands of guests during the event. The two cranes - T187 and T357 - were set up at Raimondi's outdoor exhibition and were displayed next to the company's new extended crane cab, the Raimondi Lumina X.
“We presented the T357 to Bauma as it demonstrates the superior features of the Class 150, Raimondi's new range of six flat-top cranes. With a maximum lifting capacity of 12 to 24 tons, this new class was designed with the Central & Northern Europe, US and Canadian markets in mind,” explains Cristian Badin, commercial director at Raimondi Cranes. The Class 150 series is the second new series that Raimondi has announced during the show.
With a maximum radius of 77.5 m and a maximum tip load of 2.67 tonnes in UltraLift, the T357 has best-in-class specifications in boom length and payload capacity, both at the tip and at intermediate ranges. “The Raimondi T357 is ideally suited for the construction of medium to high infrastructural construction sites thanks to the maximum lifting speed of 152 m per minute with a 75 kW winch and the drum capacity of 800 m,” said Badin.
As with the Class 110 series, the entire range of Class 150 machines has been designed and conceptualized as a whole range of cranes by prioritizing modularity of mechanical and carpentry parts, as well as interchangeability of the boom elements. The name of the new crane series is derived from the 1.5 m wide boom section.
All Class 150 models can be equipped with Lumina X, Raimondi's extended version of the newly launched crane cab. "At Bauma, we decided to install the T357 equipped with Lumina, while keeping Lumina X on the ground floor, so that everyone can enjoy their impressive dimensions - with a length of 3.88 m and a height of 2.14 m - and rich functions," Badin explained.
Market research and feedback played an important role in the design planning phase of the Lumina, as the cab was built around the crane operator's needs. The new cab meets the strictest international safety and quality standards, while providing the highest level of operator comfort.
