The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has submitted bids for the operation and maintenance contract (O&M), including insurance for five years, for a 10 MW ground-mounted solar project in Badi Sid in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. The last date to submit bids is December 5, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders are required to submit Rs 1.21 million ($14,618) as a serious deposit. The successful bidder will be required to provide an amount equal to 3% of the total contract value as a performance bank guarantee.
To be eligible, bidders must have experience as a contractor or subcontractor in O&M of grid-connected, ground-mounted solar projects, including services and spare parts for cumulative capacity of not less than 5 MW in the past seven years. The project must be in operation at least 12 months before the last date of submission of the offer.
Also, of the above capacity, at least two grid-connected solar projects must have an individual capacity of 1 MW or more in the past seven years.
The bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of Rs 24.1 million ($291,167) during the last three financial years and positive net worth in the last financial year.
